Paul Barnfather

Paul holds a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Systems. He joined EA Technology as a specialist in infrastructure asset management and worked with electricity utilities around the world to develop risk-based asset management techniques. As a result of this work, he sits as Patron’s representative on the Institute of Asset Management Council and is a co-opted member of the ISO/TC 251 UK mirror committee on Asset Management. More recently, global efforts to decarbonise of transport have re-kindled his passion for electric vehicles. In his current role as Head of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure, he is hoping to build on his experience of infrastructure deployment to help ensure electricity networks are fit for our future electric transport needs.
